# The Race HQ

> The Race HQ is a web app for running cycling road races on the day. Organisers set up marshal points, roles and groups on a map and invite their crew by email. On race day, marshals, commissaires, convoy vehicles and first aid join from their phone browsers and share their location, and race control sees everyone on a live map, talks to them with push-to-talk voice, and sends one-tap road messages such as Close Road or Race Start. Every message and change is kept in an audit log, with GPS history for mobile roles.

The Race HQ is used by cycling event organisers, commissaires, road marshals, convoy vehicles and first aid teams. It runs in a phone or desktop browser; there is no app store install. Access to an event is by invitation from its organiser.

Pricing: The Race HQ is in beta. We're looking for cycling events to run it with, and there's no charge while we do.
